Susan Harkey is an Austin-based aerial dancer and instructor who has taught movement classes since 2002. Her teaching spans aerial silks, harness, pole, flexibility, yoga, rock climbing, and gymnastics.

 

She has danced with Austin’s site-specific aerial company Blue Lapis Light since 2012, drawing on a wide movement background that includes silks, harness, pole, rope, lyra, partner acrobatics, modern dance, and ballet.

 

One of her greatest joys is sharing the gift of movement with students, and she looks forward to helping beginners build flexibility, strength, and confidence with the Kintortion method.
